My history
I am Anca Bodzer, a sworn translator and interpreter (appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Romanian Ministry of Justice) and a multilingual Program Manager specialised in the Life Sciences vertical. I am the holder of a Ph.D. in Translation from the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain) and a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Communication, Public Service Translation and Interpreting from the same university.
I have always been passionate about languages, travelling and getting in contact with people from other cultures. Throughout my academic and professional career I have been fortunate enough to meet amazing people who have inspired, supported and mentored me so that I can navigate my academic and professional challenges, achieve my goals and grow both personally and professionally.
My Mission
To create a space where I aim to bring together professionals from both industry and academia with the aim to interview professionals at different levels of their careers and provide support, inspiration and answers not only to those starting their career but also to those persons considering a change, a promotion or a collaboration from one field to the other (industry or academia).
